Karen has over 13 years of marketing, technical and management experience in consumer technology, telecommunications solutions (wireline and wireless), and enterprise software, as well as expertise in the Financial Services, Telecommunications, and Retail industries.
In 2002, Karen founded Paragon Consulting Company, a strategic marketing consulting firm focused on market development and sales tool development and delivery. Paragon clients have included BEA, Hyperion, and ShoutNetworks.
Prior to founding Paragon Consulting Company, Karen was the Director of Industry Marketing for E.piphany, a leading provider of intelligent customer interaction software. Before joining E.piphany, Karen was an Industry Marketing Strategist for Siemens Information & Communication Networks (IC&N), where she was focused on solution and partnership development.
Karen worked for a number of years for Sprint and Sprint PCS as a marketing executive. Most notably, she was directly involved in Sprint PCS’ successful market launch of digital wireless service for the Bay Area, as well as many smaller markets.
Karen also worked in the marketing units of BellSouth Wireless, Compaq, and Oracle. Her early career was in the Information Technology division of Seattle First National Bank, a subsidiary of Bank of America.
Karen’s strengths include strategic planning/market development, strategic sales tool development and delivery, marketing program management, and solution/partnership development.

Karen holds a MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University, where she focused on high-tech marketing. She also holds a BA from the University of Puget Sound in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing and Economics.
